The campus, will establish a home for Wayne McGregor and the company, and a major resource for the arts across the UK.

Comprising three extraordinary studios, the space will host all of Wayne McGregor's creative work and collaborations with artists and companies. Alongside, will run artist development and learning programmes based on the trading of space, time and skills.

The cornerstone of this trading model is FreeSpace / Free2Create programme. Through FreeSpace, Random Dance will provide artists and companies access to world-class studios regardless of funding or stage of development, offering blocks of time for rehearsal, research and creation.

In return, Radom Dance will ask FreeSpace artists to contribute to Free2Create, trading their time to deliver creative interactions and engagement projects in local communities.

Studio Wayne McGregor will be a shared space for making: both a physical space and a conceptual space, where the creative brains of the day, in whatever medium, can exchange knowledge and invent together.
