Kench Hill is a beautiful, Georgian, mansion in rural Kent, available to hire by businesses and individuals for events.
With accommodation for up to 45 guests, the space is perfect for employee training days or weekends –the council are offering a 15% discount to Hackney Businesses. Kench Hill is a centre for environmental education, so businesses committed to sustainability may be especially suited to the site.
The site is also hosting voluntary ‘painting parties’ on Monday 30th and Tuesday 31st May as well as April 1st. These are days dedicated to painting the exterior and interior of the new eco-hall – a great opportunity to unleash creativity and meet new people. Volunteers require no special skills – although any particularly creative volunteers may be interested in painting the environmental-themed wall murals.
Materials, equiptment and refreshments will be provided – and volunteers can be picked up and dropped off at the station. The days last from 9am – 5pm. Volunteers can come for as many days as they wish, although accommodation can’t be provided. Camping may be permissible however.
