Wearable Technology Competition Now Open

Innovate UK is offering six businesses funding of up to £35,000 each to develop a piece of wearable technology across the themes of sport and well-being, entertainment, hospitality, health and safety, accessibility and design.

McLaren and Loughborough University, Disney, glh Hotels, Amey and National Rail, Atos and Queen Mary University London are the challenge partners who have set the design briefs.

Apply now to:

  • trial your technology with major industry players while keeping your intellectual property
  • secure up to £35,000 to develop your solution
  • receive promotion, support and advice to speed up the commercialisation of your solution.

Participants will also get support from industry insiders The London College of Fashion and Wearable World.

Innovate UK will be holding two briefing events for this contest in London on Wednesday 28 January and Manchester on Thursday 29 January.
